Matthaios is a graduate from the University of Leeds with a BSc (First Class Hons) in Accounting and Finance. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), and a Fellow and current Board member of the Cyprus Association of Actuaries (CAA).
He has been part of Aon’s Wealth Solutions team as an Actuarial Consultant since 2022. He is dedicated on crafting tailored advice and solutions to governmental / social insurance organizations in relation to their funding, financial sustainability and reform needs. He is also the consulting and scheme actuary for a number of multinational and local premier companies as well as pension institutions in Cyprus, Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and other countries in the Gulf region.
