Cyprus Autodesk Forum “Building the Future: Digital Transformation AEC & Infrastructure” will showcase how Autodesk’s powerful suite of tools—leveraged by the deep technical expertise of Alphanetrix—can redefine workflows and accelerate digital transformation across the AEC and infrastructure sectors.

Elias Margellos is the CEO and Founder of Alphanetrix, bringing over two decades of expertise in business strategy and digital transformation. Prior to founding Alphanetrix in 2011, he held leadership roles at Autodesk, PC Systems, and Infocad. With a strong academic background—including an MBA from LSE, an MSc from Cranfield University, and a B.Eng. from the University of Westminster—Elias combines technical depth with strategic vision, helping organizations harness cutting-edge technology for growth.


As a Civil Engineer, Matias has extensive experience in BIM AEC across diverse project types and sizes. He has previously worked as a BIM Modeler for MEP disciplines and as a BIM Coordinator for urban regeneration and large industrial projects. Currently, he serves as a Solution Engineer for Autodesk, supporting customers in overcoming challenges and implementing BIM solutions. Results-driven and automation-oriented, he consistently seeks to bring innovation to daily work. A digital enthusiast, he leverages technology to optimize project outcomes and streamline processes.

Diego González Pascual is a Technical Solutions Executive at Autodesk, with extensive experience in digital consultancy and infrastructure innovation. Formerly Director of Innovation at AECOM Europe and BIM Implementation Lead at ADIF, he has managed major civil, architectural, and infrastructure projects across Europe and North America. With a strong background in BIM, asset management, and structural engineering, Diego combines deep technical expertise with a passion for advancing digital transformation in the built environment. He is a frequent speaker at international congresses and universities, advocating for smarter, more sustainable construction practices.


Katriona is a UK Chartered Architect and registered member of ETEK, Cyprus. Graduating from the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL), she received her MArch Architecture (RIBA II) degree and later continued to gain Part 3 accreditation with the AA School of Architecture. She joined EKKY Studio in April 2023 after working at Foster + Partners for four years. Before leaving, she was leading a team of six on a large-scale hospitality project in California as an Associate Architect. Her main experience involves developing advanced concept designs for high-end hospitality, office, residential and masterplan projects. She has helped deliver both detailed design and tender packages, developing strong project coordination and team management skills.

Mr. Sotiris Sotiriou, MEng, MSc, is the Founding Principal and Technical Director of ASD Sotiriou. A graduate of the School of Civil Engineering at Patras University, he obtained his master's degree from NYU Polytechnic University in New York, specializing in materials strength and computer programming for structural nonlinear analysis. Mr. Sotiriou has contributed to numerous high-profile projects globally, including high-rise buildings, tensile structures, and stadiums. He has also developed advanced engineering software, utilizing geometric and material nonlinear analysis to enhance the understanding of structural behavior.

Theodoros Zarkas is an architect with nearly three decades of professional experience, currently serving as Head Architect and Team Leader at J+A Philippou Architects – Engineers. He holds an academic background with degrees in Architecture from the University of East London and the University of Nicosia and in Building Technology from the University of Wales.Throughout his career, he has successfully led and delivered diverse projects including residential, hospitality, commercial, and healthcare sectors. Most recently, he held the role of Project Architect for the Ayia Napa Marina. His professional ethos lies at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and theory. He is dedicated to developing innovative, sustainable architectural solutions that address environmental and social challenges, while also fostering economic development. His work reflects a deep commitment to shaping resilient and vibrant urban environments that support the evolving needs of contemporary society.

Paraskevi is an architect with 7 years of professional experience in architectural design and project development. She is currently working at J+A Philippou Architects Engineers, where she also leads the BIM processes as BIM Manager. She holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Cyprus and has been involved in a diverse range of projects, varying in scale and complexity - including private residences, commercial buildings, renovations, and larger urban developments. Her portfolio reflects a versatile approach, with involvement in both public and private sector projects. In her role as BIM Manager, she plays a key part in integrating digital technologies into the design and construction process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration across all project phases. She is known for her creative thinking, attention to detail, and consistent commitment to quality, regardless of a project’s size. Driven by a passion for architecture that balances functionality and aesthetics.

George Dimitriou has a diploma of Mechanical Engineering form Institute of Technology of Athens and is an approved instructor of Greek Manpower Employment Organization. He is an Autodesk Certified Instructor for AutoCAD (MEP, Mechanical, Plant 3D), Autodesk Inventor Pro, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Vault Pro, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk ReCap, Autodesk Revit MEP. He is also an Autodesk Certified Technical Sales Specialist for PD&M Collection. Since 1994 has been working with various Autodesk Authorized Distributors, Resellers and Autodesk Authorized Training Centers in Greece as an Autodesk MFG product manager, trainer, consultant, and Autodesk Vault Project Integrator. The last ten years has been working for Alphanetrix Ltd., Autodesk’s Gold Partner in Greece & Cyprus, as a Senior CAD Engineer, MFG & 3D Printing Specialist.
