Dinos graduated from the London School of Economics obtaining a BSc (Econ.) with First Class Honours. He then worked with KPMG London and following his admission to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales he specialised in mergers and acquisitions. He later joined Bank of Cyprus to work with companies with financial and management problems and afterwards headed the International Business Unit of the Bank. He then set up his own investment and advisory business with clients in a diversified industry portfolio working in M&A, corporate finance, debt advisory and corporate recovery. He is also a member in boards of financial and non-financial companies. In March 2023 he joined Oaklins Baltics.
Valērija is a partner at Oaklins Baltics in Riga and heads the Oaklins’ glass processing & finishing team. Bringing over 15 years of experience in corporate finance and change management, she has successfully led top Baltic companies through complex turnarounds, managing both operational and financial restructurings. Valērija has overseen various M&A and capital raising projects and provided advisory services to leading regional banks and private equity firms. Recent transactions she has been involved with include the acquisition of Telia Latvia by Tet, largest telecom operator in Latvia, the sale of Mercedes distributor Domenikss to Veho, the leading Finnish player in car dealerships, the sale of FlyCap-backed cosmetics producer Bio2You to the INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund and the financial restructuring of the leading Baltic building materials producer Sakret.
Valērija holds board positions with prominent Baltic companies. She's also a visiting lecturer at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance, covering topics like strategy, M&A, and corporate governance. Within Oaklins, she serves on the executive committee as the vice president of quality & integration. Educationally, Valērija earned an MSc in Consulting and Coaching for Change from Oxford/HEC Paris, a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, and is a CFA charterholder.
Jürg is a partner at Oaklins Switzerland and a member of the Executive Board of Oaklins International. He has more than 20 years of experience with approximately 250 projects in M&A and corporate finance. Blue chip clients he has advised include ABB, BASF, Breitling, Holcim, Migros, MSC, Novartis, Sonova, Straumann and Swiss. Prior to joining Oaklins, Jürg spent 10 years at EY, where he was a partner and led the M&A and valuation team in Switzerland. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a PhD from the University of St. Gallen.
