Bálint Máté is involved in sports industry since 2000 as a former athlete, transitioning to the broadcasting industry as production manager then event and project manager. He is working for the most popular Hungarian multisport club, Ferencváros since 2013. Bálint is the key contact person of Ferencváros for all stakeholders in the international club competitions since 2014. He is the local Project Manager of the Club’s international projects, focusing on the promotion of physical activity in grassroots sports, active aging, fan education and engagement, social inclusion and good governance in sports. Also, he is the General Secretary of the Club’s own Fair Play Committee since 2017, Board Member of the European Football for Development Network since 2018. Bálint is Guest Lecturer at multiple domestic and international intitutes and universities since 2018 and certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) at the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2022.
