Marios is an educator committed to expanding access to quality education as a means to reduce poverty, enhance opportunities, and foster peaceful democracies. His dedication to global education is evident in his work with NGOs promoting peace and social equity. Currently, he contributes towards advancing global education in Cyprus through his work at the Ministry of Education and the Unit of Education for the Environment and Sustainable Development. He also serves as a member on the board of directors of the NGO Support Center and leads educational programs for Sistema Cyprus, a social music initiative supporting children who have less opportunities.
