With over 20 years at the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, Eftychia Georgiou serves as the Senior Officer and Head of the Supervision Department, ensuring that investment firms and fund managers operate with integrity and responsibility to safeguard investors’ protection, transparency, and the stability of financial markets, while fostering public confidence in licensed entities. Actively participating in committees of ESMA and the Council of the European Union, Mrs. Georgiou brings deep expertise in financial oversight and regulatory compliance to the European financial sector. Mrs. Georgiou is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a degree in Economics.
