Mario Kleopa born in Cyprus, left post the invasion, he has lived most of my life in the UK but also early years in Africa. UK educated with 2 degrees in Business and MA in Human resource management. He has worked in the Food and drink sector in the UK for over 35 years. Working in retail, airline catering, and food manufacturing companies. he had worked in numerous categories including, Chilled dips, Chilled & Ambient Olives & Antipasti, Continental Cheeses, Chilled Ready meals and snacking. Hisexperience has involved working with most of the retailers in the UK and for a period of time he worked for Marks and Spencers. His experience is varied but coincidently he has worked and sold products that he had experience in, and as Greek Cypriot has consumed all of my life, ie Halloumi, olives, etc. His experience dealing with Halloumi has been selling direct to smaller independents through to the largest UK retailers, and had been involved in growing this category from being regarded as a small commodity item that only Cypriots consumed to becoming now a grocery item in the UK market.
