Nearchos Petrides, has worked as Chief Executive Officer of Ellinas Finance Public Company Limited since June 2019. He initially began as Executive Officer with his main responsibilities being the strategy and growth of the company, as well as the management of the company’s risks. He initially began his career with KPMG Cyprus in 2011, having joined the Audit Department as Senior Supervisor where he specialised in the external audit of insurance companies and credit institutions. Nearchos has acted as a member of the board of directors and a member of the Audit Committee of Actibond Growth Fund Public Company Limited, a company listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange. He has also acted as a member of the board of directors of J&P Fresca (Cyprus) Produce Ltd. During the period 2017 to 2018, he acted as a member of the Board of Directors and member of the Audit Committee of Cosmos Insurance Public Company Ltd. Nearchos graduated from the University of Nottingham (UK) having obtained a BSc Hons in Finance, Accounting and Management. He went on to achieve the title of a Chartered Accountant, and he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) since 2015.
