Private Banking and Wealth Management have faced substantial changes over the years in order to cope with the trends and new market standards. The increasing complexities and challenges that accompany wealth accumulation as well as the rapid increase in High Net Worth Individuals have prompted this substantial transformation. Private Banks must deliver innovative and sophisticated solutions in order to maintain and increase their market share and assist their clients to make solid financial decisions on asset protection and value preservation.
The ultra wealthy now have their own agenda and means to allocate their wealth as clientele and trends have changed substantially. Private Banks and Wealth Managers are required to cope not only with times of market globalization but also with highly demanding customers and ever-developing regulations. Hence, Family offices are on the rise as there is a growing need to go over and above the average wealth planning when it comes to the succession plans of HNWI.
The Cyprus Private Banking and Wealth Management Conference, which will take place on Thursday, 7 June 2018 at the Hilton Hotel, Nicosia, will bring together all of the industry’s key players – HNWI, private banks, family offices, independent wealth managers and intermediaries – for an active discussion of the major issues faced by the industry. Leading sector thinkers and doers will evaluate the importance of implementing new and more holistic wealth management strategies. The ultra wealthy are increasingly relying on family offices and wealth managers. However they are also increasingly demanding and finance savvy as they wish to keep diversifying and are very reluctant about their wealth managers as they are prime targets of the entrenched and burgeoning industry of financial fraud. Renowned speakers will share their business practice and partnership experiences, while discussing the major topics that affect the global private banking and wealth management sectors.
Thursday 7 June 2018, Hilton Hotel, Nicosia, Cyprus
The conference will be in English.
