The Project Management Institute (PMI) Cyprus Chapter has successfully organized the ‘Project Management Conference’ for the past 3 years and managed to bring together more than 300 Project Managers and Professionals from different industries and sectors in Cyprus and abroad, who shared the experiences and goals and how they can add value to their organizations and their community through project management.
Participants will have the opportunity to be inspired by acclaimed keynote speakers, to learn about the Project Management techniques and trends of 2020, as well as to exchange ideas and opinions with other professionals in a live and interactive virtual environment.

As President & Chief Executive Officer of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Sunil Prashara is the lead advocate for PMI’s global organization, serving more than three million professionals working in nearly every country of the world. His primary responsibility is to implement PMI’s global strategic plan with a priority on strategic focus, customer centricity and organizational agility. The plan will also continue to enhance and advocate for the profession of project management. Sunil was named CEO of PMI in March of 2019. He brings more than three decades of valuable global leadership to PMI, with a solid track record of setting and delivering strategy, managing large scale transformation agendas, and meeting growth targets for international organizations. Prior to joining PMI, he served as CEO of i1too Ltd in the U.K., a sales accelerator for digital start-ups, which he founded in 2016 and grew internationally. He previously served as CEO of Expereo International, and also held numerous executive leadership positions throughout the information and communications technology and telecommunications industries. His extensive multi-functional, multi-cultural, multi-geography experience includes managing sales, operations and digital transformation for companies such as Vodafone, Nokia, Accenture and Perot Systems (NTT). As a business executive, he has developed an appreciation for project management expertise, and understands from an “outside-in” perspective how PMI can expand its reach globally. Sunil speaks Punjabi and Hindi. He is a graduate of the University of London and resides in the U.K. with his wife Kavita and two sons Kamran and Raghav. He enjoys golf, boxing, martial arts and traveling.
Managing Director, Europe, Project Management Institute (PMI), Singapore
Ashwini will be leading PMI’s development in the region and will be responsible for PMI strategy and operations in Europe which includes our 49 chapters, bringing PMI closer to the needs of our shared customers. He will play a crucial role in developing an enhanced local experience for our stakeholders in Europe. Ashwini is a versatile professional with over 25 years in business development, mergers & acquisitions, and alliances across diverse geographies of Europe and Asia Pacific. He has worked in organizations like Nokia Networks and Ericsson. He excels in creating value through resolving customers’ needs and challenges quickly, and works to build trusted, win-win relationships. Immediately prior to joining PMI, Ashwini served as the Managing Director for Kathrein Mobile Communications for the Asia Pacific region. He has a Bachelor of Science from Delhi University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in India. Ashwini is a squash enthusiast and a qualified yoga instructor. He loves to read, trade ideas, and enjoys music, and will be based in PMIs UK Office shortly.
Program Management Lead in EPVM, UCB Pharma, Belgium
Kamil Mroz is currently working at UCB Pharma as Program Management Lead within the EPVM group in R&D. He is deeply involved and passionate about contributing to the PM community by regularly speaking at PM conferences, actively contributing to publications and enthusiastically sharing his experience with the next generation of project managers. Since 2016, he is also organizing a monthly networking event for PMs in Belgium called “Pint of PM” and is the Chair of the ISPE CoP in Project Management in the BeNeLux. In 2013 he received the prestigious International Project Management Association (IPMA) Young PM of the Year Award for outstanding leadership and project management excellence, and since then he has been part of the yearly Global IPMA Jury to select future winners and in 2019 received a global award from PMI recognizing his significant impact in advancing project management. In 2020, Kamil was a part of PMI Future 50, a group of leaders who are transforming the workplace through collaboration, inclusion, and purpose.

Paul Hodgkins is currently the Executive Director of Paul Hodgkin’s Consultancy. Paul joined Siemens in 1984 as a graduate trainee and within two years entered the world of Project Management. From February 2006 until June 2013, he was responsible for leading Siemens global programme addressing project business known as PM@Siemens, across the UK and North West Europe and in April 2009, Paul was nominated as one of only ten key influencers in the UK in relation to the profession of project and programme management. In July 2013 he established his own business, Paul Hodgkins Project Consultancy, where he helps busi-nesses to “unleash the power of projects and programmes”. He continues to be recognised for his contribution in developing the project management profession and has written arti-cles for and appeared in many project management publications as well as being a key note speaker at numerous project management events around the world. Paul was appointed as a Fellow of the Association for Project Management (FAPM) in October 2009 and repre-sented Siemens as part of the PMI Global Executive Council and APM Corporate Leaders Ad-visory Group.

Sina is an Economist turned Business Consultant and Project Management Professional, working at KPMG Cyprus. She holds a BSc and MSc in Economics and she is an APM PMQ qualified Project Manager. Having gained extensive experience from working on large-scale projects across an array of sectors in the UK (including Technology, Finance, Transportation, Water, Energy, and Infrastructure), Sina moved back to Cyprus and since then has been helping companies become more efficient and improve the way they operate.
