He studied at the University of Wisconsin and at Yale University. He has research and\/or teaching experience at the World Bank, the European University Institute, and Yale, Georgetown and Northwestern universities. His research on firm and consumer behavior has been published in prestigious international scientific journals. He has written many articles and conducted several studies on issues concerning the Cypriot economy and has served Cyprus from several posts, including the National Economic Council.
