Prior to his current role he has served as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board member of NBG Bank Malta Ltd, as well as the Chairman of the Board of NBG (Malta) Holdings Ltd, whilst before he held the role of Head of Business Strategy &amp; Corporate Development at National Bank of Greece since 2014. Mr. <span class=\"xspelle\">Agioutantis<\/span> started his career in 1995 in New York (USA) in investment banking\/ structured finance with bulge-bracket firms (UBS, Citibank) and upon his return in Greece spent 12+ years in financial services advisory \/ consulting primarily working at Big-4 firms (EY, Arthur Andersen) and an additional 5+ years in commercial leadership positions with <span class=\"xspelle\">FinTech<\/span> companies covering the EMEA region. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Finance and International Business from New York University (Leonard N.
