Panos Panayiotou is a distinguished leader in cybersecurity, with over 25 years dedicated to advancing the field through strategic leadership and hands-on execution. As the CEO at circl3.tech, Panos has been instrumental in shaping cybersecurity policies and practices both locally and in broader European contexts. Panos began his career by setting up the CISO offices at two of the island\u2019s leading banks (Laiki Bank and Bank of Cyprus) and later expanded his influence to the central government, currently acting as the CISO of the public adminstration. His expertise has been recognized through his participation in ENISA\u2019s Adhoc working groups, where he contributed to the development of EU-wide cybersecurity cloud certification and cybersecurity skills framework. He has setup and chaired the Cybersecurity Working Group in the Association of Cyprus Banks and has been an active member of the European Banking Federation\u2019s cybersecurity working group.
