He graduated with honors from the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University obtaining a degree in Economics of Foreign Countries and International Relations. In 1996, he obtained a PhD in Economics from the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and in 2015, a doctorate in Economics from the same university. In 2005, he joined RCB Bank Ltd and he is currently a member of its Board of directors and the Bank\u2019s Chief Executive Officer. In 2008 he was elected President of the Association of International Banks in Cyprus, a position he holds until today. In 2011, he became a member of the International Affairs Steering Group of the European Banking Federation (EBF).
