He has over 10 years of experience in the areas of IT, Information Security and Data Privacy. Before taking over BDO\u2019s TRA department, he was occupied as an independent consultant, in the domains of information security and data privacy. His previous experience also includes holding senior positions at firms in the financial and banking sector, as well as in the academic sector. Alexis holds a doctoral degree in the area of Information Security, as well as a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, a Master\u2019s degree in Information Security and a Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration. In addition, he is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP\/E), an EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional (EDRP) and a holder of the Security+ certification.
