He is in charge of EU directives and policy initiatives in the area of corporate taxation. Recent initiatives include the 2016 Anti-Tax Avoidance Package and the relaunch of the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base, the 2018 proposals in the area of digital taxation, and the 2020 Package for Fair and Effective Taxation.
