Elżbieta Franków-Jaśkiewicz is the Chair of MONEYVAL and the Head of the International Cooperation Unit within the Department of Financial Information (Polish Financial Intelligence Unit), Ministry of Finance. Mrs. Franków-Jaśkiewicz has over 20 years of experience within the government administration of Poland – The Polish Police, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Finance. For the past 20 years, she has been focused on anti-money laundering and countering terrorist financing issues working within the Polish Financial Intelligence Unit. As the representative of Polish FIU, she is involved in the work of numerous international organizations and fora (FATF, MONEYVAL, EAG, UNODC, OECD, OSCE, the Egmont Group, the EU Experts Group on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, the EU FIU Platform, FIU.Net, and others).
