Simon Gorbutt is Chair of STEP Benelux and Director at Lombard International Assurance, where he heads a Wealth Planning team unique in the cross-border insurance space providing services on a global basis as part of the company’s Wealth Structuring Solutions capability. He is based in Luxembourg where he has more than 16 years’ experience specialising in cross-border wealth planning for high net worth individuals. Simon is a solicitor, qualified in England and Wales, he speaks on private wealth, succession and insurance-based wealth solutions, and he teaches on the Masters in Wealth Management at the University of Luxembourg. Simon also sits on the Board of the Luxembourg Association of Family Offices – the voice of private wealth in Luxembourg.
