Dr. Jamshid Vayghan is Kyndryl’s Vice President, Distinguished Engineer, and CTO for Strategic Markets Group that covers 49 countries in 4 continents. In this role, Jamshid leads Kyndryl’s technical teams in those countries and collaborates with Business Partners to support customer transformation journeys in several industries. Prior to his current role at Kyndryl, Jamshid held several technical leadership roles at IBM leading IT-enabled digital business transformation initiatives across the world. Jamshid has a multi-disciplinary education and career and has lived and worked in four continents. He holds a Ph.D. in AI and Machine Learning, MS in Robotics, B.Sc. in Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering, and several invention patents. In addition to leading digital business transformations in a variety of industries, he has been a researcher and university professor with hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, cloud, Data, AI, System Modernization, and experience in using them to innovate and solve real-world problems
