Andy started his data career in 99 with a 17-year stint at SAS, which included 10 years of delivering Warehousing, OLAP, and Analytics projects, before moving into a global tech team, to do presales, presales enablement, and partnering stuff – lots of planes, trains and automobiles. Then Andy spent time at HPE designing and delivering Hadoop-based analytical services to EMEA multinationals. After this Andy moved into the startup space and spent time at Arcadia Data and AtScale where he was the first on the ground technical leader in EMEA. Andy has spent the last 12 months with Starburst Data where he focuses on working with partners and advising organisations on Data Mesh.
