Project Management Institute (PMI) is the world’s leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project, program and portfolio management profession. Founded in 1969, PMI delivers value for more than 2.9 million professionals working in nearly every country in the world through global advocacy, collaboration, education and research. PMI Cyprus Chapter was formed in 2015 as the local Chapter of PMI. During the first years of its establishment the Chapter managed to have more than 200 members as of today and to be recognized as the professional body and resource of choice for Project Management in Cyprus. It won the ‘Chapter of the Year Award’, for the best Chapter in the World in its category (25-300 Members), in 2020. The Chapter aims to support the growth and development of the Project Management Professionals in Cyprus, as well as to build awareness of the Project Management discipline and its critical role in the success of all types of organizations.
