Εmbracing Immigrants at School: Tools for An Inclusive Education
The conference entitled “Εmbracing Immigrants at School: Tools for An Inclusive Education” aims to promote inclusive education for immigrants by showcasing effective tools, teaching materials, and guidelines developed by the project’s partnership consortium. In the last decade, the European Union member states, including Cyprus, witnessed an increase in immigration which fundamentally changed the national profile of the school population. There is therefore an urgent need to reform the current educational system to facilitate the integration of students with migrant backgrounds in schools: making school environments more inclusive. During this conference, experts and policymakers will have the opportunity to exchange views and share practical guidance on how to create an inclusive and diverse school environment.
