Andreas Dermosoniades is a highly experienced ICT professional. Throughout his career, he has been employed by national and international technology companies in various management positions. He has an in-depth and sound knowledge of the ICT market in Cyprus and the surrounding area, understanding the business and technology needs of private enterprises and government departments and, therefore, advising all Cyprus organizations to embrace Digital Transformation. He has been actively involved in major, strategic Systems Integration and Infrastructure projects in the public as well as in the private sector in Cyprus contributing towards the Digital Transformation of the Country. Vasilis Charalambides is a Lawyer and the Head of GZGTech at George Z. Dr. Peter Fassbinder is Principal Expert for PLM Process Innovation at Siemens Advanta Consulting. Based on over 15 years hands-on experience in Lean / Agile and 5 years transforming an industrial company to Continuous Delivery and DevOps, he drives innovation of PLM processes, organizations and ecosystems. His current focus topics are application of Continuous Delivery and DevOps in industrial environments, Agile Scaling and Lean / Agile Leadership. Prior to joining Siemens, Peter worked as project lead, architect and subject matter expert at various other blue-chip companies. Peter is member of the advisory board, chairman and regular keynote speaker at international events.

VASSILIOS ARGYRIADIS
CTO, Huawei Technologies, South Balkan Region

Vassilios Argyriadis currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Huawei Technologies South Balkan Region with responsibilities of Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and North Macedonia. He has more than 20 years of experience in telecom industry, serving from different companies and roles the ICT objectives. His expertise is in broadband evolution of carriers’ business, and how ICT industry can assist operators’ digital connectivity efforts, innovation and sustainable development, but also how ICT practices can lead towards the digital awareness and transformation of the local society. Vassilis Argyriadis holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Telecoms from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB). He has also obtained a Bachelor Degree (BSc) in Physics from University of Ioannina.

Engineering Manager for Search Platform, Twitter, UK

Barbara Fusinska is an Engineering Manager for Search Platform at Twitter. While working with a variety of different companies, she gained experience in building software systems and diverse teams. This experience brought her focus to the Data Science and Machine Learning field. She believes in the importance of the data and metrics and teams collaboration when growing a successful business. ANTON PALAGIN

Product Manager, Open Networks,Amdocs (ex-IBM), Ireland

Anton Palagin is presently Amdocs’ Product Manager in Open Network organization. Anton has worked in the telecommunication industry since 2006 and has been delivering CEM, SQM, NOC/SOC, and orchestration solutions as an engineer and a Product Manager. Of late, he has been working on an edge cloud offering for the telco MEC at IBM. He has a deep understanding of the telecom industry standards, customer requirements, and multi-vendor integration projects across the globe. Anton comes from an academic research environment where he spent many years working on digital signal processing and science measurements automation.

Agency Development Manager, Google, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Malta

Spyros Plessas is Agency Development Manager at Google, driving customer success by empowering trusted partners in Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Malta to leverage Google solutions and achieve customer marketing objectives. Before joining Google, Spyros spent 6 years in the financial and technology sectors of Athens, Barcelona, and Berlin in a variety of companies including National Bank of Greece, Delivery Hero SE, and Dreamcheaper. Spyros holds an MBA from IESE Business School, an MSc in Information Systems Management from London School of Economics, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

APRIL EDWARDS

Senior Software Engineer, Microsoft, UK

April Edwards is a senior software engineer and cloud advocate for Microsoft specializing in application transformation and DevOps ways of working. Her focus is on advocating Microsoft Azure to take customers of a journey from legacy technology, to serverless and containers, where code comes first, while enabling them to take full advantage of DevOps. April was previously a cloud consultant and solution architect for various partners in the UK and brings her years of experience in helping customers plan their journey. April is often asked to present at events to showcase the latest Microsoft technologies and also to present live demos that are industry specific and applicable to real life use cases.

SPYROS LOIZOU

CIO, Eurobank Cyprus

Spyros Loizou is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Eurobank Cyprus, leading the bank’s digital and business transformation initiatives. Spyros has over 15 years of experience in the financial services sector in Cyprus and the UK. He was previously employed by Morgan Stanley Investment bank in London where he as leading the quantitative risk modeling team with Technology and Data division before his repatriation to Cyprus to lead EY’s IT Advisory services as a Director in the local practice for a number of years. He has been awarded with a 1st class honors in BSc in Computing from Northumbria University at Newcastle and an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), an ACL Certified Data Analyst (ACDA) as well as a certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

Nicolas Mesaritis currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer for the last 3 years, the last 12 months working for EcommBX Electronic Money Institution. Previously, he worked as a software developer and payments consultant for financial software vendors TSYS and OpenWay. Nicolas is still actively involved in software development and he is fascinated by new development in the space of software development and by fintech innovations especially in the area of automations.

Konstantinos Botsaris is a Senior Manager within the Management Consulting department of KPMG in Cyprus, having more than 8 years of experience in the provision of technology consulting services both to private and public clients. Konstantinos is an expert and has deep knowledge in emerging technologies and how those can be leveraged to solve real business challenges. He is currently leading the Digital Innovation Service Line at KPMG in Cyprus. The main focus of the services provided is the design and development of innovative digital solutions, delivering those to various clients across different industries in order to introduce operational efficiencies.

Marios Tannousis holds the post of Deputy Director General at Invest Cyprus. He has more than twenty four years of international corporate experience, with twelve years in the international banking and financial services group Societe Generale, where he served at various key posts. He is a Member of the Board of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) as well as the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). He also served as President of the Cyprus Finance & Leasing Association and Board Member in various other organizations and bodies. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University, NJ, USA and an MBA from Mankato State University (MSU), MN, USA. He is also Certified for offering investment services and has a special interest in Economic Development through Investments especially in Banking, Financial Services and Investment Funds. He represents Cyprus in various international and European Conferences.

TRYPHON PAPAZOGLOU

Tryphon Papazoglou has graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1993 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. For the last 25 years, he has been working in the field of technology and in particular IT. Currently, is the Country Manager of SoftOne Technologies Ltd, a subsidiary of SoftOne Technologies A.E. member of Olympia Group of Companies and one of the most successful IT companies in Greece. During the last 10 years he has been particularly involved with the convergence of Information and Telecommunications (ICT) especially in the Cloud services, always aiming to create a sustainable added value for end customers. Tryphon’s long and lasting experience in managerial positions, his continuous involvement in the processes, flows and regulations of large and International companies, are some of the traits that make him one of the most capable managers in the IT market of Cyprus.

Senior Commercial Manager, NetU Group

Christos Tattis currently holds the position of the Senior Commercial Manager at NetU Group. While dealing with commercial matters both in the Private and Public Sectors, he is strongly advocating for the need of organizations to start their digital transformation journey, adopting to the new norms and conditions. Before joining NetU in 2016, he spent 15 years in various positions in the Banking Sector at Emporiki Bank and Alpha Bank, leading various transformational projects. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from University of Cyprus and an MBA from City University of New York, Baruch College.

With work spanning the world of B2B services, consulting, banking, branding and digital strategies, Paul Koronis has been providing dedicated customised and focused solutions by leveraging insights to create deliverables that foster creative leadership.
