Paraskevas Panayi is the Chief Information Security Officer at Astro Bank. He holds an MSc in Network Management and Security from London Metropolitan University and a BSc in Computer Science. He has worked as an Information Security Analyst, Head of InfoSec Risk Management team and Manager ICT & InfoSec Risk Management at Bank of Cyprus. In a previous life, he has also worked as a web developer in leading organizations offering financial and billing services, with the mission of digital transformation, optimizing, digitizing and automating CRM related services. During the last decade, he has devoted himself to the field of information security in the banking sector. Currently his main duty is to ensure that risk management processes are efficient and run smoothly to timely identify risks, define action plans to mitigate these and monitor their implementation.

Panos Panayiotou is a distinguished leader in cybersecurity, with over 25 years dedicated to advancing the field through strategic leadership and hands-on execution. As the CEO at circl3.tech, Panos has been instrumental in shaping cybersecurity policies and practices both locally and in broader European contexts. Panos began his career by setting up the CISO offices at two of the island’s leading banks (Laiki Bank and Bank of Cyprus) and later expanded his influence to the central government, currently acting as the CISO of the public adminstration. His expertise has been recognized through his participation in ENISA’s Adhoc working groups, where he contributed to the development of EU-wide cybersecurity cloud certification and cybersecurity skills framework. He has setup and chaired the Cybersecurity Working Group in the Association of Cyprus Banks and has been an active member of the European Banking Federation’s cybersecurity working group. Panos is a vocal advocate for robust cybersecurity regulations, continuously pushing for heightened security measures that protect both private and public sector organizations.

Aris Hatjipapas is a Cyber Security Business Unit leader at Cosmos Business Systems managing secure network/telecom and system infrastructures. He has a strong background for 27 years while started with networking, moved to systems, and finally combining all previous knowledge with the latest security principles to achieve high compliance standards. Expertise in understanding customer requirements related to CyberSecurity compliance (ISO27001), Business Continuity (ISO22301) and Data Privacy (ISO27701/ GDPR). Focus on communication and business processes dealing with general business compliance. He aims at clearly defined objectives and deliverables, building executable project plans and lead projects to completion on time, within scope.

Christos is a Cybersecurity Partner at EY within the Technology Consulting services. He has over 17 years of experience in the field of Cybersecurity, Digital trust and Resilience, working for professional services and technology providers for clients in multiple countries in Europe, UK, and the Middle East. He has acted as an advisor to C-Level individuals, Boards of Directors and Regulators on the design and implementation of Cyber Security strategic roadmaps and emerging technology secure adoption, while also supporting the CISO function for a range of clients.  He has extensive experience with regulatory frameworks and international standards including ISO 27001, NIST 800, GDRP, and most recently with DORA. He has acted as a trusted advisor to National Authorities for the development and implementation of national cyber security risk management frameworks and technical standards and guidelines for critical infrastructures. With a strong technical background, Christos has led and participated in the delivery of large enterprise security assessments and reviews including, cyber-attack simulations, penetration testing, threat modelling and risk assessments, security architecture design and reviews, for multinational clients operating in the Energy, Banking, Telecommunications sectors.

Ivana Butorac is an EU Cyber Compliance expert, with more than 7 years of experience in the ICT industry, working at leading IT multinationals. As an experienced manager in cyber compliance, Ivana specialises in providing data protection & privacy consulting services within the Government Affairs domain, primarily for EU bodies and Member States. Her expertise includes AI security & Privacy, security by design and data security. Ivana is regular conference speaker and panelist at Cybersecurity and Privacy events across the EU.

Ramsés, with an MBA and Law education, has over 25 years of experience in security, with expertise in Risk Management and Governance. Recently the CTO at OpenText Cybersecurity, he previously served as Strategist & Evangelist at Symantec’s Office of the CTO and held roles at Dell Security, CA Technologies, SurfControl, and Entelgy. Active in ISACA, he served on the CISM and CGEIT Certification Committees, chaired the ISRM Conference, and contributed to the first ISACA World Congress. He is certified in CISM, CGEIT, CISSP, SCPM, CCSK, ITIL, and COBIT, and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. Ramsés is an award-winning international speaker and was recently inducted into the ISACA Hall of Fame. He teaches at IE Business School and is the Executive Vice President of the Quantum World Association.

Sheril Nagoor is a Principal Solutions Architect at Cloudflare, based in London, and an influential SASE evangelist. With extensive expertise in cybersecurity, Sheril has significantly contributed to enhancing organizational security postures through cutting-edge technologies. As a prolific speaker and patent holder, he brings deep industry knowledge and innovative perspectives, making him a thought leader in the cybersecurity community. Ioannis has more than 20 years of professional experience in the area of Corporate Security in multinational corporations where he has served in positions of increasing responsibility. Currently Ioannis serves as the Chief Security Officer for Huawei in the South Balkans region responsible for the cyber security and privacy aspects for 5 countries (Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Albania, and North Macedonia). Previously, Ioannis have served as the Chief Security Officer for the OTE Group, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (leading among others all security aspects of the SNF Cultural Center landmark project) and PRAXIA Bank. Also, he has served in positions of responsibility in Ericsson, Intrasoft International, and Ingersoll Rand. Ioannis possesses an MBA from the University of Bradford Management School, and a BSc from the American College of Greece.

Sebastjan Štucl, Director and Principal Cybersecurity Architect at Kyndryl, is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with over 18 years of experience. Leading Kyndryl’s global security engineering, Sebastjan empowers businesses to stay ahead of cyber threats. Sebastjan has helped major global organizations across multiple regions (LA, EMEA, ASEAN, ANZ) build their Security Operations Centers (SOCs), adopt cloud security best practices, implement DevSecOps principles, and fortify their security posture across various domains. Allan Boardman CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CDPSE, CISSP, ChCSP, is a seasoned business advisor and accredited trainer focusing on information and technology governance, assurance, risk management, security, and data protection. He is a regular speaker at conferences across the globe and runs cybersecurity, risk and audit related courses and workshops. A Chartered Accountant, he began his career with Deloitte in Cape Town and has 40+ years’ experience including at GSK, AXA, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, PwC, Marks and Spencer and London Stock Exchange. He currently serves as a co-opted member of the Audit and Risk Committee at a large London university. He recently rotated off ISACA’s CGEIT Certification Working Group and currently serves on the CDPSE Certification Working Group. He was a member of ISACA’s International Board of Directors from 2011 to 2014 and has served in various other volunteering roles at ISACA including as president of ISACA London Chapter from 2004 to 2006. He received the ISACA Chair’s Award in 2014, the Eugene M. Frank Award in 2019 for meritorious volunteering service and was included in ISACA’s 2018 and 2019 “Top-Rated Speakers” lists. He is a 2023 inductee in ISACA’s Hall of Fame.

Andrea Renna is a professional with proven experience in the business consulting sector with a particular focus on Digital Transformation and Cyber Security. A globetrotter with a long career in large companies and startups, he has worked and lived for several years in the United States, Mexico, Germany, Spain, and Italy where he helped the Large Enterprise sector on various fields of expertise such as Corporate Information Systems, Enterprise Management and Digital Transformation. He has devoted the last three years of his career particularly on Cyber Security, Data Protection, Governance, Risks and Compliance, Cloud Security, Data Analytics and Monetization.

Diamandis Zafeiriades is at the helm of cybersecurity as the Chief of Digital Security Authority (DSA) in Cyprus. Under his leadership, pivotal entities such as the NIS Authority, the National CSIRT, the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCC-CY), and the National Cybersecurity Certification Authority (NCCA) of  Cyprus operate seamlessly. Armed with a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Coventry University [UK] an MSc in Data Communication Systems from Brunel University of West London [UK] and an MBA from MIM in Cyprus, Diamandis boasts over 15 years of profound expertise in cybersecurity. Amongst others he is an experienced Lead Auditor in Information Security and Business Continuity and he actively contributed to international and European standardization technical committees, shaping the landscape of information security and cybersecurity standards worldwide.”.

Guy Dagan is the Co-founder and Acting CEO of Consienta, a company within the Yael Group, offering a comprehensive solution for cybersecurity awareness and human factor education in organizations. In his last role, he served as the cybersecurity and information security manager at Bank Hapoalim – the largest bank in Israel. With over 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry and 15 years in cyber and information security, Guy specializes in human factors and social engineering. His expertise includes Cyber crisis simulations for executives, building cybersecurity awareness programs, and developing cybersecurity BCP (Business Continuity Planning) processes for companies. He has extensive experience as a lecturer in various forums in Israel and worldwide, and he contributes writings to magazines. Guy actively participates in professional working groups and research in technology, social networks, cybersecurity, futurism, and entrepreneurship.

Stelios is the Chief Information Security Officer at Bank of Cyprus since October 2021. He is responsible for the design and monitoring of the implementation of the Group’s Information Security Programme. He joined Bank of Cyprus in August 2020 as Governance Manager under the CIO function. Prior to joining the Bank, and from November 2016 to August 2020, Stelios held the position of Global Chief Information Security Officer for a large multinational BPO services company (Tek Experts Global Ltd). Earlier, Stelios worked at KPMG Cyprus from 2005 to 2016, where from 2012 he held the position of Director and led the Information Protection and Business Resilience Advisory Services. He holds a BSc in Computer Systems Engineering from Warwick University UK, and an MBA from Warwick Business School UK. He is a Certified Information System Manager (CISM).

Savvas Zeidan is an accomplished technology executive and risk management specialist with over two decades of experience in ICT, infrastructure, and healthcare informatics and system engineering. Holding a Master’s in Enterprise Risk Management and multiple engineering degrees in Computer, Electrical, and Electronics & Communication Engineering from UCY and AAU, Savvas is also a member of ETEK and other professional bodies and associations. He has demonstrated expertise in leading digital transformations, fortifying cyber security, and enhancing business continuity in various high-stakes environments. His multifaceted career includes significant roles at Ygia Polyclinic Private Hospital, where he serves as the CIO and Risk Manager, as well as extensive experience in healthcare technology, consultancy, and general management across different industries. Fluent in multiple languages and a certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Savvas combines technical proficiency with strategic leadership to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Dr Marios Neofytou is a Senior Officer at the National eHealth Authority of Cyprus and Director of the National Contact Point for eHealth services. Dr Neofytou, received his diploma degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the NTUA. Dr Neofytou is actively involved in Νational and European projects, funded by the European Commission and the Research and Innovation Foundation of Cyprus, He is working in eHealth research projects since 2000 (current projects: EUVAC, i2X, Xt-EHR, eCAN, XShare, PATHED, EUDCC), dealing with eHealth application. From 2008-today, he is a Visiting Academic in several public and private Universities. He has published several journals and conference papers in the fields of telemedicine, EHR, interoperability, medical imaging etc. Dr Neofytou is a member of the Technical Chamber of Cyprus.

Toumazis Toumazi is the Project Officer of the Cyprus Computer Society, with extensive project management experience. He focuses on promoting ICT and digital literacy by implementing initiatives that enhance IT education and professional development. His role includes organizing events, competitions and workshops. Toumazi is also skilled in managing EU, national, and other funded projects. Additionally, he coordinates the Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge and the CCS Women's Group, further advancing the Society's mission.

The Cyprus Computer Society in cooperation with information security specialists in Cyprus, from both academia and the industry, are organising the Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge (CCSC), a competition which aims select and train the Cyprus National Team which competes at the annual European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC) which takes place annually. The competition is organized with the aim of identifying new talents in the field of cyber security (ages 14-25), as well as encouraging young people to pursue a cyber security career. The ECSC is an initiative of the European Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA). The participants are asked to solve challenges related to web security, mobile security, crypto puzzles, reverse engineering and forensics and will collect points for each challenge they solve.
