Dr. Casidhe Troyer studies innovation and technology strategy, with a particular focus on understanding how large firms both generate and respond to new technologies. She has two main areas of research. First, she studies the the interplay between technology strategy and human capital strategy, examining how technology adoption decisions and outcomes are shaped by how firms structure and manage key human capital relationships. She was named a finalist for the Academy of Management Strategic Management Division’s Outstanding Dissertation Award for her work in this area exploring technology adoption in hospitals. Second, she examines how the demands of shareholders can shape an organisation’s R&D strategy. Dr. Casidhe Troyer is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School. She holds a Ph.D. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and a B.A. in economics with a concentration in poverty and human capability studies from Washington and Lee University. Prior to joining academia, she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, specialising in capital markets policy and research.

Sue is Deputy Dean for People and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford She is also a Fellow of Green Templeton College. She has a BSc in sociology, MSc in sociology with special reference to medicine, MA (Oxon) and a PhD studying the introduction of general management into the NHS. She is also a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. Sue conducts research in a range of public and private sector organisations. Sue’s research lies in the area of innovation, change and healthcare studies. She has led a number of research projects in public and private sector organisations. These include the evaluation of work aimed at improving clinical effectiveness, exploring evidence-based medicine, developing the skills of healthcare managers, and investigating the changing role of healthcare assistants within the NHS workforce. Her research interests are personal and organisational dimensions of leadership, transformational change, networks, healthcare studies and clinical leadership, implementation of innovation, evidence-based management, leadership coaching practice, women in leadership.

Trudi is member of the Saïd Business School strategy faculty working with executives to support them achieve their strategic objectives. Her areas of expertise include scenarios and strategic reframing, the interplay between organisational identity and strategy, and collaborative strategy. Prior to joining Oxford, Trudi was Director of Strategic Foresight at the World Economic Forum. She has also served as Consultant for Strategic Foresight at the OECD. Trudi holds a PhD (DPhil, Management Studies) and an MSc (Management Research), both from the University of Oxford.

Dr. David Stillwell is Professor of Computational Social Science at Judge Business School in the University of Cambridge. He is also Academic Director of the Psychometrics Centre. David studies the links between big data and psychology; his research with 6 million social media users found that the computer can predict a user’s personality as accurately as their spouse can. Follow up research found that personalizing an advert to the recipient’s psychology is more effective than generic ads.
