He chairs an African infrastructure fund’s Investment Committee, overseeing sustainable power and transport investments. At Transport for London, he chaired the Programmes and Investment Committee, directing £5 billion in annual capital investment. As a Crossrail director, he supported the £18 billion Elizabeth Line turnaround. As FIDIC CEO, he transformed operations, increased annual revenue by 150%, and secured agreements with eight multilateral development banks covering projects exceeding US$190 billion annually, demonstrating governance, commercial judgement and stakeholder leadership.

PMP, CSPP. Head of International Projects at Lascò and VP for Organization at PMI Southern Italy. Specialising in European projects on digital transformation, sustainability, and innovation in education and training, she has coordinated international initiatives involving more than 100 organizations across 30 countries, including projects recognized by the UN Global Compact as good practices for their contribution to the SDGs. She also serves as an evaluator for European funding bodies and has contributed to the development of recommendations and tools for the European Commission aimed at strengthening education and training systems across EU regions in preparation for the twin transition.

Mariami Meladze, PMP, is the Regional Head of Community for Europe at the Project Management Institute (PMI), where she leads community strategy, engagement, and growth across the region. Drawing on experience across the non-profit, entrepreneurship, and education sectors, she is a passionate advocate for advancing the project management profession and creating positive impact through collaboration and shared purpose.

Ike Nwankwo, MSc, MBA, CDir, PMP, DASSM, is the Chair of the PMI Board of Directors. He has served on the PMI Board since 2021. He is a long-time PMI volunteer and past president of the PMI chapter in Nigeria, past PMI Region Mentor for Africa and past Chair of PMI’s Governance Committee. Nwankwo is the managing director of Distinct Management, Ltd, an independent project management consultancy focusing on information technology, construction, and business transformation. Throughout his more than 25-year career, he has managed portfolios and led the delivery of multi-million-dollar projects and programs across multiple sectors, for a diverse range of multinational organizations across the United Kingdom and Africa. He is a motivated professional speaker, and he has co-authored a book on global leadership, entitled “Developing Global Leaders: Insights from African Case Studies.” Nwankwo holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Architecture, both from the University of Nigeria, as well as an MBA from Middlesex University Business School, United Kingdom. He is a graduate of the PMI Leadership Institute Master Class of 2016.

Merete (Me) Munch Lange is the current President of PMI Norway Chapter. She is curious by heart and a strong believer in servant leadership. She has worked as a project leader, business liaison and change manager for many years – both in private and public sector. She now works at the Norwegian National Police IT Department.
