Pantelis Argyrou graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a BSc (First Class Hons) in Actuarial Science. He is a Fellow of the UK Actuarial Profession.After graduating, he gained valuable Pensions experience within the UK Marketplace with the UK Government Actuary’s Department and later with Towers Perrin, where he worked as an assistant actuary and later as a qualified actuary for a total of 8 years. He joined Aon Hewitt in Cyprus in 2008. Pantelis leads the firm’s Cyprus pension administration department and is a Senior Consultant of Aon Hewitt’s International Retirement & Investment practice focused on advising institutional clients. He works with clients on the full range of actuarial and pension/provident fund administration issues and services. He is the consulting and scheme actuary for a number of multinational and local premier companies as well as pension institutions in Cyprus, Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and other Middle East countries. He has consulted his clients on the full range of actuarial service including actuarial valuations for accounting, funding, M&A and transfer purposes.
