Simon MacAdam has been working at Capital Economics – a macroeconomic research house based in London – for the past seven years. In this time, he has covered UK macro, commodity and financial markets, and has spent the past five years producing research on global macro, with a particular interest in inflation. His other research interests include labour markets, monetary policy, and political economy. He holds an MSc in Economic History from the LSE, and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Durham University.
