The Advertising, Marketing and Communication Conference marks its 20th anniversary in 2023, and 20th year as the largest congregation of professionals in the advertising, marketing, media, and communications sector in Cyprus. In 2023, the conference will have a celebratory tone, while aiming to inform and facilitate the development of knowledge, exchange of experiences, and discussion surrounding important issues concerning the wider communications sector.

Christiana Paschalides has been managing the Cyprus Advertising Regulation Organization since May 2010. She also manages the Cyprus Advertisers’ Association and the Cyprus Communication Agencies Association. She worked in Greece, initially as a journalist for advertising industry media, then at the Association of Advertising-Communication Agencies of Greece [EDEE] -of which she was the General Manager from 2003 to 2007-, and at DDB Athens as Corporate Communication Officer and Business Development Director.
Antonis Kocheilas is currently the Global CEO of Ogilvy Advertising. In this role, he is serving on the executive leadership team of Ogilvy WW with the sole responsibility to harness Ogilvy's capabilities in advertising, branding, and content creation for the growth of brands and businesses under Ogilvy’s stewardship. Antonis has 20+ yrs. of experience across leader and challenger brands in industries including CPG, Tech, Telco and Retail and he has delivered extraordinarily work for clients, as evidenced by 21 Effie (Marketing Effectiveness Awards) and 23 Cannes Lions (Creative Awards) including a Grand Prix in 2018. He is a global marketer with a deep understanding of how brands grow. A Big-picture thinker that loves crafting wholistic strategies; ones that deliver world-class Comms, help galvanise stakeholders and ultimately drive business growth across time horizons. Antonis holds an MBA from Cardiff University in UK and a BSc. in International Management from the American College of Greece.

Stelios was raised in the USA where he studied Mass Media Communications at the University of Delaware. His work experience began at WIRV TV in Newark, Delaware as Assistant and Technical Director producing various entertainment, news and public debate programs. Upon returning to Cyprus in 1981, he joined an offshore start-up—Memo Marketing—as an account executive for global brands in the Middle East and Gulf States. In 1982 he founded Telia & Pavla Advertising, which created an immediate impact in local advertising and became the first agency in Cyprus to align with a worldwide network—BBDO Worldwide. Since then, Telia & Pavla BBDO has continued its enviable reputation for creativity and award-winning work.
Anthi Pashi is the Business Development Director at Partners Connected Communications, where she plays a pivotal role in driving the agency’s growth and expansion. With an impressive 17-year track record in the field of marketing, Anthi brings a wealth of experience from her work with renowned local and international companies. Notably, she has made significant contributions to companies such as British Telecom and Machina Research, an Internet of Things research company. Natasa Perdiou is the Country Manager of Action Cyprus, part of Action Global Communications. With a decade of experience, she has worked with leading local and global brands, and she has been at the forefront of innovation in the local advertising industry, bringing award-winning campaigns to life. Before joining Action, Natasa held the position of Director of Communications, E-commerce & Digital Marketing at C.A.Papaellinas Group. Currently leading the team at Action Cyprus, she brings valuable knowledge to develop consumer-centric integrated communications strategies. Natasa holds an MA in Political Sciences, an MA in Digital Marketing, and a BA in Media Communications.
Charalambos Rossides is GNORA’s Communication Manager and manages important projects in the fields of corporate and political communication. He is very well acquainted with Cyprus’ political, economic and business environment, and has worked on the election campaigns of candidate mayors and MPs. He holds a Master of Science degree in European Politics from the University of Leuven in Belgium and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Hofstra University, New York.
Panos Tsiridis has been working in communications since 1991. He is the General Manager of V+O Communication Cyprus since its establishment in 2011. V+O helps companies and organizations to achieve their goals and manage their public presence by providing analysis, guidance, and content. He has designed and implemented corporate communication and issue/crisis management programs for multinational and local businesses. He has participated in political campaigns at national and local level in Cyprus, Greece, and abroad. His work has contributed to industry awards. He is a speaker at educational lectures and seminars and occasionally publishes articles. He graduated from the Department of Political Science at the Law School of the University of Athens.
Panayiota Konnari is the Head of Brand Communication Strategy in Cyta and manages integrated Brand and Product communications campaigns. Panayiota has worked for 20+ years in several Communication & PR positions in Cyta embracing the challenges and changes in Marketing & Adverting industry. Passionate with teamwork, new challenges & adventures, and great results. She holds a degree in Marketing & Business Studies from Athens University of Economics & Business and a PR diploma from The Henshall Centre. Before entering Cyta she worked in Advertising Agencies and private TV stations. She is married with 2 strong and independent daughters and a Miniature Pinscher dog.
She studied in Austria at the University of Vienna Journalism, Mass Communications and Political Sciences and got a Masters’ Degree in PR and Advertising. She has been an active member of Cyta Corporate Communications Unit since 1995 and Head of the Public Relations Department for the last years. The department deals mainly with media/publicity matters, promo events and activities, sponsorships and corporate print & electronic publications. Before 1995 she worked in the PR departments for Cyprus Airways and the Cyprus Tourism Organization. In addition, she worked at the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation and private TV stations as a TV presenter and an anchorwoman.
Michalis Karis has been working in the media industry in Greece and Cyprus since 2000. He has served as an executive and general manager large media organizations with portfolios in radio stations, newspapers, magazines and websites. Currently is servicing Super Radio in Cyprus as a general manager. Apart from this field, Michalis is currently in cooperation with multinational investment and consulting firms offering his services as an independent consultant in projects that require expertise in the areas of strategic planning, project management, M&As and investment appraisal.
Despo Lefkariti after her studies in Marketing in London, started her career in the family petroleum company Petrolina Hellas in Greece. In 1985 she returned to Cyprus and founded DELEMA, one of the largest and most creative communication agencies in Cyprus, affiliated with MCCANN Worldgroup, the largest and most effective communication network in the world. She is the president of SDEK (Communication Agencies Association) and Vide-President of FED (Self-Regulation association). DELEMA is a full-service agency, whose work has been recognised in international competitions (London International Advertising Awards, Ermis Awards and European Digital Communication Awards) as well as in Cyprus (Carob Awards, Digital Awards and Responsibility Awards).
Chrysanthos Tsouroullis studied law and Journalism and holds diplomas in ‘Crisis Management and Media Communication Management’ and ‘Leadership in economic reform development’ from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. During his student years at Athens Law School he had a strong and varied activity on social and political issues and served as president of the Cyprus Students ‘ Union for two consecutive years. Upon returning from his studies, he writes for the newspaper Politis. In 2000 he becomes presenter of CyBC’s nightly newscast. In 2002 he became editor-in-chief and presented a daily news show at CyBC and soon became the anchor man of the main news bulletin while continuing to write in print. In 2007 he joined Dias Media Group as editor-in-chief and presenter of a daily news TV show at Sigma TV. He then took over the editor - in-chief and presentation of the successful TV show ‘60 Minutes’ and became the anchor man of the main news bulletin at Sigma TV and political editor at ‘Simerini’ newspaper. In 2012 he became the manager and chief editor of DIAS news department. Since 2014, he is the CEO of Dias Group and Sigma TV.

Theodoros Middleton, born in Cyprus in 1978, has a solid educational background in Law, with Bachelor's and Master's degrees from East Anglia School of Law and Queens Mary University of London. Upon his return to Cyprus in 2004, he worked as a lawyer at the legal firm Chrysafinis & Polyviou for a number of years and since January 2010, he dealt with real estate investments. In 2012, he co-founded Invelopment Partners Ltd, an investment company with a mixed portfolio of companies. For the past years, he has been acting as the CEO of DIGITAL TREE GROUP and in 2021, he has taken on the role of Executive Chairman. Through his practical experience, he has acquired a substantial understanding of Media, Global Mega Trends and the ability to recognize talent and opportunities.
Petros Petrou, with 25 years of professional experience in Media industry, is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a holder of an MBA Postgraduate Degree. A passionate approach combined with extroverted personality, strong awareness of the Medias’ challenges and innovative thinking. He is the CEO of Alpha Televsion Cyprus Ltd, for the past 7 years, and has the full responsibility for the overview of the different functions of the Company (TV, Digital, Outdoor, Broadcasting Channels, Radio, Events). Previously, he has worked for Phileleftheros Media Group as Business Development Manager and for Dias Publishing House & Sigma Radio TV as Group Sales & Marketing Manager.
Myrto Markides studied Economics & Business Administration at Boston University in the USA. She continued her studies at London’s City University where she obtained a Master in journalism. In 1987 she started work at Phileleftheros newspaper, initially as a finance correspondent. In 1995, she made the transition from journalism to management, first as General Manager and since 2007 as CEO, a position she holds to this day. During her professional career, Phileleftheros has grown from a 12page newspaper to the biggest media and publishing group in Cyprus. Myrto Markides is the granddaughter of the founder of Phileleftheros, Nicos Pattichis and one of the main shareholders and a member of the boards of Phileleftheros Ltd and N & M Mediamorfosis Ltd.
Stelios Malekos is the Managing Director of Antenna Limited since 1999. He joined Antenna in 1993 when ANT1 TV, the first private TV channel to broadcast in Cyprus, was launched. Since then, he has managed all areas of the company’s operations, business development, financial control, and strategic planning. He has also overseen the expansion of its media assets, including ANT1 Radio, ant1live portal, and Antenna Productions. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine, London, and an MSc in Shipping, Trade, and Finance from Bayes Business School, City University, London.
After working for Google and Philips Simon is now a Partner at Ingager, the largest independent Facebook Agency in Europe. Simon is a popular speaker on digital marketing and digitalization. Simon has been speaking for Tesla, NATO and BMW to name a few. A year ago Simon published his first book on digitalization. Simon is by his peers described as one of the most influential persons within the Nordic marketing/advertising space.
Joanna Kasoulidou, demonstrated experience of more than 18 years in the field of Public Relations and Corporate Communications. She worked in leading communication agencies in Cyprus with leading clients and brands. This experience was best achieved with great skills in PR, corporate affairs, corporate strategy, CSR consulting, crisis management, media relations, editorials, digital PR and experiential marketing. One of the greatest skills she leveraged to meet through her professional experience, is the adaptability of various challenging situations the clients had to overcome, by mooting at all times new creative & innovative ideas and solutions for them in this fast changing environment of communications.
Konstantina Logotheti is the Head of Marketing & Communications in PwC Cyprus, being responsible for the Strategic Marketing Planning of the organisation. Very recently she was appointed as the Director and Member of the MB of the newly established PwC Cyprus Foundation, a not for profit organisation aiming to support our community. Konstantina has worked in the past for multinational corporations like Microsoft Hellas, Cosmote Telecommunications company and NOVA. She holds a degree in Media & Mass Communication from Panteion University of Social & Political Sciences in Athens and a MSc in Marketing from Leicester. She is married with 2 daughters and loves animals.
Stephanos Pantelides is currently the Marketing & CX Manager of the Bank of Cyprus Group including Cyprus’s leading Life and General sector insurance companies: Eurolife and Genikes Insurance. He and his team are devoted to nurture the Brand equity of the three Brands and ensure that through effective communication they achieve their strategic objectives of growth and profitability. Stephanos has first-hand experience on Strategy formation, KPI management, complex problem solving, Sales management, Branding and Advertising, having served the Bank of Cyprus Group in various key positions like Retail Products Manager, Direct Campaigns manager, Business Development Manager, Strategy and Customer Insights manager, Brand & Communication Manager etc. He holds an MSc in Marketing and a BSc in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester for Science and Technology.
Sofia Vorka is a versatile brand, marketing and operations management professional with a proven +20-year experience record in the advertising, hospitality and retail markets. MA Marketing and MBA from the University of Hull. Since 2008 Sofia Vorka leads the marketing team for IKEA in Cyprus and she is actively involved in various domains of the global brand’s business with emphasis in linking business planning and strategy to operations and solid financial performance. As a marketer, Sofia Vorka is proficient in brand positioning and designing campaigns as to maintain leading presence in the market.
Sophia moved back home to Limassol after working in the UK as a Production Manager and TV Presenter for a decade following her studies at Royal Holloway, University of London. Despite red-carpet interviews and production credits on shows like The Oscars, Golden Globes, BAFTA, and Empire Film Awards, she decided to pursue a new career in Cyprus. Her first role in Marketing and PR was at award-winning Limassol Marina. She then joined Cybarco, leading the Marketing and Communications of landmark developments like Trilogy Limassol Seafront. She is also a published author and host of ‘Destination Cyprus’, a podcast by Cybarco
Elena Papantoniou holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Lancaster University and a master’s degree in international Retail Marketing from the University of Surrey. In 2014 she started working at C.A.C Papantoniou Trading in the purchasing department and in 2017 she took over as the company’s Marketing Manager.
Constantinos Daltas is the Founder and Managing Director of Red Wolf PR & Advertising Agency and a member of Board of Directors of Cyprus Communication Agencies Association (SDEK). He comes from Media and Communication Industry, where he has served as an executive, in Greek TV channels, radio stations, newspapers, websites and communication companies, since the mid-1990s. Furthermore and apart from this field, he has participated in political strategies in Greece and Cyprus, in campaigns for leading international brands and has managed successfully dozens of communication crises on behalf of several clients throughout the years. He has also served as a jury member of the European Effie Awards and has received several advertising awards in Greece and Cyprus. In addition, he has participated in award-winning projects, that have received more than 80 awards.
Sophia Tsene holds a BA in Economics from the University of Piraeus, Greece and a Masters Degree in International Marketing Management from the University of Exeter, UK. She started her career in Marketing & Communications, working at Nestlé in Greece. She then moved in Cyprus, working for important local and international brands such as Cadbury, Trident, Lindt, etc. Since 2016, she has been working as Group Marketing Manager at Zorbas Group. Sophia is a high performing marketing professional, with an overall 15 years marketing experience in the FMCG, with proven track record of strategic marketing, successful NPDs, campaign launches and project management.
Constantinos Stylianou is a Marketing expert with more than 13 years of experience and worked for enterprises in various countries and regions, and in a diverse range of industries including Cybersecurity, IT, Investment, Retail and Real Estate. He has been awarded with the regional recognizable ‘’Top Digital Marketing Partner’’ Award by Hewlett Packard Enterprise for the Best Marketing Strategy of the year in formulating and implementing lead generation strategies. Constantinos Stylianou holds a BA in Business Studies, a Growth Marketer and Chartered Marketer recognition; he is a Member at Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Professional Certified Marketer at American Marketing Association.
Ippokratis Kourkoumpas serves as the Marketing Director of Public Cyprus, leveraging his extensive background in the FMCG and Retail industries. He has a wealth of experience working with globally renowned brands such as Skip, Cajoline, Lux, Vaseline, as well as local favorites like Public. Throughout his career, Ippokratis has consistently achieved growth by crafting dynamic brand, marketing, and e-Commerce strategies while implementing integrated communication campaigns. He believes that promoting Cyprus as a destination is an everyday challenge but it is also a pleasure to introduce your country to visitors and invite them to explore a beautiful island.

Pericles Ellinas is considered amongst the pioneers of Digital Marketing in Cyprus with over 20 years of experience in Cyprus and the US. Pericles was the first to develop an interactive measuring tool to report online sales and internet consumer behavior on a regular basis - The I Report. He has been awarded with the internationally recognizable Marketing Excellence Award for the Best Interactive Campaign of the year. Pericles Ellinas was the Initiator and Director of the OgilvyOne Worldwide unit in Cyprus since 2006, and amongst the first to incorporate internet advertising campaigns into the local marketing mix. He is a Global Partner and Certified Trainer of the Digital Marketing Institute, the recognized international certification standard for the digital marketing industry. He works for multinational brands of global stature and vibrant local corporations. Pericles is a Graduate and Qualified Trainer of DMI. He studied in the US and he holds a BA with specialization in Marketing and an MBA with focus on E-Commerce Strategy.
Petros Heracleous has an enriched background in Political Sciences and Crisis Management and has a holistic understanding of the market digital needs of the public and private institutions from his carrier pathway in the Audiovisual Unit of the European Commission. For the last 7 years, he is the lead as the Client Service & Operations Director in ORB Communications working closely with the largest organizations in Cyprus and a variety of international brands. Embracing the challenges of digital transformation and big data, he is using innovative, tailor-made digital solutions in all his clients marketing and communication strategies and campaigns
Andreas Pavlou holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MBA in Marketing from the St. John’s University in New York. He has been employed at DELEMA MCCANN CYPRUS since 2005 and he is currently serving as the Director of Digital Services. He believes that change can only lead to improvement, as the marketing industry is rapidly adapting and has transformed to a consumer dominant “ball game”. The ability to adapt and master change is a challenge that can only be addressed with constant learning and an open mind that fits into a strategic plan that has been carefully drafted.
