During the Forum, the latest data management challenges and opportunities will be put under the spotlight. What is more, the Forum will focus on presenting techniques and case studies of dealing with and applying new methods with the ultimate goal to extract the full value of the most valuable resource of our days.

Vanja Radivojevic
Data & Analytics Lead, Senior Manager, KPMG Limited

Vanja is a Senior Manager leading the Data & Analytics service line in KPMG. She holds a BBA (Finance and Investments) from Baruch College, City University of New York, and an MSc in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics from CIIM. Since joining KPMG in 2018, Vanja has been responsible for Data-Driven Transformation, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Strategy, Data Governance projects across industries. She is responsible for delivering data management, advanced analytics, and business intelligence solutions to companies in Cyprus and the EMEA region. Vanja has extensive prior experience in the field of finance and investments, having worked in Private Wealth Management with Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York.

Andreas Kitsios
Head of Customer Advisory, Greece & Eastern Europe, SAS

Andreas is the Head of SAS Customer Advisory for Greece and Eastern Europe (GEE), managing presales activities for Analytics technology across the region. Within this role, he is heading a team of Analytics experts that are responsible for the design, planning, and adoption of solutions that enable organizations to create valuable insights from their data, and use it efficiently to improve their processes, decisions, and business actions. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, with a focus on IT solution design and architecture of business applications, and has collaborated with class-leading customers across a range of different sectors, including Banking, Insurance, Energy & Utilities, Telecommunications, and Retail.

Ian Wallis
People Analytics & Insight Director, HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs), UK

Ian has over 30 years’ experience in data and analytics across a dozen industry sectors in UK public and private sector, making him one of the foremost experts in data-driven change. He joined HMRC in 2019, creating the People Analytics & Insight directorate to transform its employee engagement through more effective use of data, and to make HMRC a great place to work. In 2021, he published Data Strategy: from definition to execution, the most comprehensive guide to the end-to-end process of successfully embedding data and its exploitation into an organisation.

Ben Herzberg
Chief Scientist, Satori, Israel

Ben is an experienced hacker, developer, and book author. Ben is experienced in endpoint security, behavioral analytics, application security, and data security. Ben filled roles such as the CTO of Cynet, and Director of threat research at Imperva. Ben is the Chief Scientist for Satori, streamlining data access and security with DataSecOps.

Dr. Dane Aronsen

Senior Manager of Data Science and Analytics, Booking.com, Netherlands

Dane Aronsen has been at Booking.com for the last 6 years. He currently oversees teams of data scientists, data analysts, and data engineers, focused on using data to better understand customer behaviour across a range of product offerings. Before this he was responsible for building experimental measurement in the Marketing department, allocating large budgets across a range of investment opportunities. Before joining Booking, Dane completed his Ph.D in Behavioural Neuroscience in his home country of New Zealand.

Andrew Mott
EMEA Data Mesh Lead, Starburst Data, UK

Andy started his data career in 99 with a 17-year stint at SAS, which included 10 years of delivering Warehousing, OLAP, and Analytics projects, before moving into a global tech team, to do presales, presales enablement, and partnering stuff - lots of planes, trains and automobiles. Then Andy spent time at HPE designing and delivering Hadoop-based analytical services to EMEA multinationals. After this Andy moved into the startup space and spent time at Arcadia Data and AtScale where he was the first on the ground technical leader in EMEA. Andy has spent the last 12 months with Starburst Data where he focuses on working with partners and advising organisations on Data Mesh.

Hany Choueiri
Chief Data Officer Aldermore, Vice-Chair and sustainability board member at the GLEIF, Aldermore Group, Global Legal Entity Foundation (GLEIF), UK

With over 30 years of experience in data, Hany Choueiri is the Chief Data Officer at Aldermore heading up Advanced Analytics, Data Governance and Digital Marketing. He is also board member and the vice-chair of the Global Legal Entity Foundation (GLEIF). Previously roles include Chief Data Officer EMEA at StateStreet and Chief Data Officer at the Bank of England. He has worked in a variety of roles at HSBC including the GBM Chief Data Officer for Europe. He is an advocate of World Economic Forum’s ESG Stakeholder Capitalism model and runs a series of LinkedIn Live Streams on this topic.

Mara is a Cloud Solutions Architect for Data & AI at Microsoft. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, she has been focused on helping large enterprise customers such as M&S, AstraZeneca, or HSBC, on their digital transformation journey, guiding them on how to best use the data platform technologies available today and modernise their data & BI applications. Before working at Microsoft, Mara was a Power Platform consultant, focusing on reporting, process automation, and low code app development.

Nigel Turner
Principal Information Management Consultant EMEA, Global Data Strategy Ltd, UK

Nigel Turner has worked in Information Management for over 25 years. He is co-founder and Principal Information Management Consultant at Global Data Strategy Ltd, a data management consultancy company. He spent much of his career at British Telecommunications Group (BT) where he led a series of enterprise wide IM & data governance initiatives. After leaving BT in 2010 Nigel worked as a data consultant at Trillium Software, FromHereOn and IPL before joining Global Data Strategy Ltd. Nigel is a well-known thought leader in Information Management and has run tutorials and presented at many international conferences. He has also written several white papers on Information Management topics. He is based in Cardiff, Wales in the United Kingdom.

Andrea Piro
DataOps Manager, MAERSK, Italy

Andrea is a professional with over 20yrs of experience in data and analytics, his first work on Business Intelligence dates to early 2000'. He's DataOps manager at A.P. Moller - Maersk, the integrated container logistics company. He served some of the world’s largest organizations – Novartis, UN, TetraPak to name a few - on SAP and Cloud technologies. During his career he also provided Digital Forensics services for mobile devices.With extensive knowledge as steering committee member, people manager of teams globally dispersed with 120+ FTEs and 24/7 setup, Andrea will share his thoughts about DataOps, digital transformation and how to fire on all cylinders.

Stephen A. Brobst
Chief Technology Officer, Teradata Corporation, USA

Stephen is the CTO for Teradata. He performed his graduate work in computer science at MIT where his Masters and PhD research focused on high-performance parallel processing. He also completed an MBA with joint course and thesis work at the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Stephen is a TDWI Fellow and has been on the faculty of The Data Warehousing Institute since 1996. During Barack Obama's first term he was appointed to the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) where he worked on development of the Big Data strategy for the US government. In 2014, at the height of the Big Data phenomenon, he was ranked by ExecRank as the #4 CTO in the USA (behind the CTOs from Amazon.com, Tesla Motors, and Intel) out of a pool of 10,000+ CTOs.
