Haris Pistos is the Director of International Banking of Bank of Cyprus and has under his supervision the IBUs (a specifically designed network of Units specialised in servicing the Bank’s international clients in Cyprus), International Corporate Banking (specializing in Lending facilities in Greece and UK), Syndication lending and Shipping Finance. He joined the Bank in 1992 as Management Trainee. Before assuming his duties as Director he served the Bank as Cards Marketing Manager, then as Manager of Cards Center, Manager IBUs Nicosia, and as Manager International Banking Network. Harris holds a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), UK, and an MBA in Marketing Management from City Business School, London, UK.

Chris Philipsborn joined Kreab Worldwide in 2013 and is currently EVP and London Managing Partner. He specialises in reputation management and crisis communications. Clients include governments, global law firms, multi-site corporates, high profile individuals and NGOs. Chris serves as chairman of The Ad Hoc Council, a membership group which fosters private dialogue between senior European policy makers and major corporates. He has served on three further management boards including Sellafield, Europe’s largest nuclear site and foreign policy think tank The Salzburg Global Seminar. Chris began his career as a journalist, writing for The Financial Times and The Economist and broadcasting for the BBC World Service.

Nicos Chimarides is the president of the Council of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). He has been a member of the ICPAC Council for more than 10 years and has served in the Taxation Committee, Education Committee and other committees of the Institute. He is a partner in PwC Cyprus, a member of the firm’s Management Board and Tax & Legal Leader. His specialisation is in international tax and has over 25 years of experience in advising large MNCs on international tax matters. Nicos Chimarides is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computer Science from Queen Mary College, University of London.

Chris Koutouroussis is the Partner in charge of Legal & Corporate Services at Baker Tilly South East Europe since January 2022, following the merger with Bizserve Consultants. His tenure as Managing Director of the latter span for almost 15 years, having joined in April 2007 following a 10-year career in banking (Laiki Bank and Alpha Bank). Chris spent his academic life in the UK. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, an MSc in Finance & Economics from Queen Mary and Westfield College of the University of London and an MBA from Warwick Business School. He has been involved with the Cyprus Fiduciary Association for more than a decade, initially, as Head of the International Business Committee. Since June 2014, Chris is a member of the Board of Directors, and in October 2019 he was elected President.

Michael Vorkas specialises in commercial litigation and is the Managing Partner of the firm Michael Vorkas & Partners LLC currently leading the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution services. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master of Laws in Shipping Law from Queen Mary University of London. He was qualified as an Advocate in 1992. He has 30 years of experience as Litigator for large civil and major business cases with proven track record of applying appropriate, practical and effective methods that meet business needs while minimizing risks. He has a particular emphasis on contract claims, negligence claims and shareholder and partnership disputes. He has handled many complex disputes before the District Courts and the Supreme Court of Cyprus in its Admiralty and Appellate Jurisdiction, a great number of which were involving foreign parties and multiple jurisdictions. Other areas of experience include libel, insolvency, property and construction disputes. He has been the President of the Nicosia Bar Association in 2020- 2023 and he has been elected in October 2023, President of the Cyprus Bar Association for the period 2023-2026.

Christiana Diola is Director at ICAEW, Europe with strategic and operational responsibility for Europe as well as a member of ICAEW’s International Leadership team. She undertakes leadership of ICAEW’s member and market activities for Europe, working in partnership with national stakeholders to advance the accountancy and finance profession. Christiana is a Fellow Chartered Accountant having qualified and with experience in major firms and corporates in the UK, Greece and Cyprus across audit and consulting for public and private sector clients. She also served as part of the Accounting Faculty of the University of Cyprus and is a member of the Cyprus-UK Business Association Board. Christiana graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Olaf Mielke is a partner with KPMG AG Germany, where he is employed since 2005 and has been working as a partner since 2015. He has a particular focus on ESG and investor reporting for international investment funds, asset managers, and investors, where he provides advice on the IT and procedural implementation of reporting obligations.

Pieris Markou is the CEO of Deloitte in Cyprus and a member of the Deloitte Middle East Executive Board, having previously served as the Tax & Legal Services Leader. He started his career in London in 1986 and was admitted to Partnership at Chrysanthou and Christoforou (Andersen) in Cyprus in 2000. He is a member of the Council of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus since 2014, and elected President for the period 2021-2023, having previously served as the Vice President of the Council during the period 2019-2021 and Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Tax and VAT Committees. Pieris was an appointed member of the Advisory Council to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, for the establishment of an Independent Authority against Corruption for the period from its establishment until June 2023 and is currently a member of the Advisory Council to the Council of Ministers for the appointment of the board members of the Semi-Government Organisations. Pieris is also a board member of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Pieris holds a BA in Accounting, is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Philippos Soseilos is the CEO & Chairman of PwC Cyprus. Prior to becoming CEO in January 2022, he was a member of the Management Board for 13 years and Head of People for 8 years. He has 30 years of experience as a Business Consultant with a focus on strategy issues and implementation of business and digital transformation, in Cyprus and abroad, drawing from his extensive experience in leadership alignment, people consulting, as well as change and culture management. He has also led numerous projects relating to the reform of the public sector in Cyprus. Philippos has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, is a Fellow member of the ICAEW and a member of ICPAC.

George Themistocleous is the CEO and the Managing Partner of RSM Cyprus. He also leads RSM Cyprus’ Tax Services. He is a Fellow member of the Association of International Accountants (FAIA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). He started his career more than 30 years ago, during which, among others, he was involved with audits and tax advisory services of numerous multinational groups in different industry sectors. He focuses on international tax developments, and he served a global accountants’ association as a vice-chairman for five years.

Christos V. Vasiliou started his career at KPMG in Leeds in 1991. He joined KPMG in Cyprus’ Audit department in 1994 and became a Board Member in 1999. Christos has been involved with the audit of large financial institutions including major banks, insurance companies and investment funds. In 2016 he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of KPMG in Cyprus and Managing Director in 2019. He was the Head of the Advisory in KPMG in Cyprus until 2021. He is a member of the Executive Committee of KPMG in Cyprus, a founding member of CIFA (Cyprus Investment Funds Association) and served as a member of the Board of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus for three terms spanning from 2014 to 2023. He is also President of the Cyprus-Australia Business Association.

Jonathan Conder is a partner in Stephenson Harwood’s private wealth group and advises UK and international private clients, trustees, foundations, family offices and private banks on all aspects of tax, trust, estate and succession planning, regulatory, immigration and philanthropic issues. He also has significant experience in assisting families and trustees in responding to tax investigations and resolving disputes.

Nikolas Chatziavraam is the CEO of Softline Computer Systems. Nikolas holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and obtained his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cyprus (UCy). Through his technical expertise he has been serving as a technology and operations optimization consultant for some of the largest professional service companies around the island such as law firms, accounting firms and fiduciary service providers. Nikolas is a firm believer that technology is the only way forward for the professional services industry, disrupting the current mode of operation and becoming a given asset to the companies that invest in it.

Andrew Demetriou is a Barrister, Arbitrator and Accredited Mediator. He is ranked by The Legal 500 in the Hall of Fame in dispute resolution and real estate and construction. He is a founding Partner and the Managing Director of the law firm Ioannides Demetriou LLC based in Nicosia, Cyprus. He acts for a number of public organisations in Cyprus and leading private businesses. He has also represented the Government of Cyprus and foreign governments and government agencies in cases and has served as Chairman of the Legalink Legal Network of Independent Law firms.

Panayiota E. Georgiou is a member of the board of directors of KPMG Law (Theodorides, Georgiou, Iacovou & Co LLC) in Cyprus. She is an advocate, a member of the Cyprus Bar Association, and a certified Insolvency Practitioner with long standing experience in corporate and business law. She is particularly active in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and legal entity rationalisation exercises, and in financing and insolvency law. Panayiota is also a member of the Association for European Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists, as well as of the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Professionals.

Andria Koukounis is a Partner and the Head of the Financial Services, Funds and Capital Markets of Koukounis, Karaolis LLC, law firm member of the EY global network. Andria has extensive experience in sectors such as commercial, real estate and energy, as well as niche areas of law such as fintech, licensing, data protection and compliance. She has taken part in early negotiations with prospective contractors for the construction of the Euroasia Interconnector (renamed as Great Sea Interconnector), setup the first investment fund and legal documentation for leasing (hire-purchase) of PV panels in Cyprus, and leads the legal / regulatory workstream in various renewable energy transactions.

Michael Tsikouris is a partner at the law firm S.A. Evangelou & Co LLC, a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited (PwCIL) and part of the PwC network of tax and legal services. He obtained an LL.B. (Hons) degree from the University of Bristol (UK) and an LL.M. (Master of Corporate and Commercial Law) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) (UK). He specializes in Corporate and Commercial Law with a particular focus on (cross-border) mergers and international group restructurings, shareholders’ disputes and corporate insolvency, as well as data privacy and employment law.

Marios Tannousis is the CEO of Invest Cyprus. He has over 24 years of international corporate experience, including 12 in the international banking and financial services group Societe Generale, where he served in various key posts. He is a Member of the Boards of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) and the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA) and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). He holds a degree in Economics and an MBA. He regularly represents Cyprus at international conferences.

George Economides is the Vice-Chairman of Totalserve Management Ltd. He is also a partner at E & G Economides LLC, an affiliated full-service law firm based in Cyprus. He is a member of the Private Client Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA). He also currently serves as Treasurer to the Board of Directors of STEP Cyprus as well as Vice-President to the Cyprus Bar Associations’ committee for Business Relocation. George has also been recognized by the Legal500, a leading legal directory, as a Next-Generation Partner and over the years, has co-authored various publications on consecutive occasions as regards to M&A, tax, trusts and technology/digital business.


Savvas M. Klitou is the Regional Managing Partner of Baker Tilly South East Europe and the Head of Tax Services. He holds a BSc in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Westminster. Savvas is member of the ICAEW, the ICPAC and a member of the Institutes Tax Compliance Committee and has served as a member of the International Operations and Foreign Investments Committee between 2016-2019. He is Hon. Treasurer of the BoD of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cyprus and has been a member of the BoD since 2016. Savvas is president of the Cyprus-Spain Business Association and member of the EMEA Regional Advisory Council of Baker Tilly International.

Stelios N. Kyriakides is an Audit & Assurance Partner and has more than 15 years’ of experience with Deloitte. He manages a diverse client portfolio, spanning from financial institutions, private equity funds and family offices, across various industries. With expertise in audit and assurance services, he leads cross-border engagements for multinational groups and local enterprises, operating in Cyprus and abroad, including listed companies. A London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) graduate in Accounting & Finance, he holds memberships in ICAEW and ICPAC. Stelios also serves as Deputy Deloitte Private Leader for Audit & Assurance in the Middle East & Cyprus.

Dominique Pelides is a solicitor qualified in England and Wales since 2014. She trained at Clifford Chance LLP in London, and worked there for a total of seven years, leaving as a Senior Associate. Before joining Georgiades & Pelides LLC, Dominique was a Vice President in the alternative funds segment of BlackRock (in London) for two years. Her main areas of practice include advising on international M&A and financing transactions, banking regulation, merger control and the establishment and distribution of private investment funds. She is a co-author of the Chambers Global Practice Guides on Merger Control and Banking Regulation.

Gregory Dellas is the Chief Compliance and Innovation Officer at ECOMMBX. Previously, at the Bank of Cyprus, Gregory served as Director Wealth & Markets and spearheaded the AML Risk Management team within International Banking Services, responsible for high-risk clients and transactions and for providing guidance and specialized training to management and staff. Before that he was Group MLRO for a large Cyprus bank, and held a number of other senior management positions. Gregory is the founder and Chair of the ACAMS Cyprus Chapter, since 2015. He holds several international professional certifications including CGSS, CAMS (Advanced) - Risk and CAMS (Advanced) – Audit. He is a certified CAMS instructor and GCI accredited trainer, a Fellow of ICA (FICA) and a long-standing member of the AMLP Forum and IGCA.
