Intellectual Property (IP) has evolved to constituting one of the most valuable assets of any organization. Choosing the appropriate location for the centralization and management of IP, as well as the respective Research, Development and Innovation, is a business decision of the highest strategic importance.

Cyprus is an ideal location for the establishment of Intellectual Property (IP) holding, exploitation and/or development for US corporations. The Cyprus emerging research and innovation ecosystem, IP Law and favorable tax framework make the country a preferred business destination and IP hub whilst, at the same time, achieving the protection afforded by EU Member States and by the signatories of all major IP treaties and protocols such as Cyprus.

US IP-rich groups may now own and exploit their IP through Cyprus, as well as conduct their Research and Development from Cyprus if they so wish.

Leveraging on their extensive IP related working with US corporations, PwC Cyprus is organizing this Cyprus IP Digital Conference which aims to provide an overview of the IP ecosystem and benefits of doing business from Cyprus. The Conference will particularly address and explain the legal and tax aspects of the country’s IP regime, as well as offer insights into the availability and eligibility criteria for related EU and local funding.
