Patricio Ortiz de la Torre is a Spanish Mining Engineer accounting 25 years of professional experience gained in Spain, Ireland and Belgium, both in the private and public sectors. From 2004 is working for the European Commission, first at the General Directorate of Research & Innovation and then from 2009 at the European Research Executive Agency. From 2017 is Head of Sector at the Agency’s Widening Participation Unit.
