Chrysostomos Kridiotis is the Managing Director of Logicom Solutions, one of the largest technology solutions and services providers in Cyprus. He joined Logicom Solutions in 2018 to help with the setup of the Business Consulting practice of the company, focusing in providing a complete set of advisory services around Digital Transformation, Analytics and Cybersecurity. Previously, he served as the Country Lead for SAS in Cyprus and the Financial Services Lead for Bulgaria. Chrysostomos started his career in Citibank as a Risk Analyst and then in KPMG where he worked for the Financial Risk Management Department of the Firm. He holds a BA in Mathematics and Statistics from Macalester College in the US and an MSc in Operational Research from LSE in the UK.


Constantinos Herodotou is the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) and a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank. Previously he served as Executive Director at the CBC’s Board of Directors (2017-2019). He also held the position of the Commissioner of Privatisations in Cyprus (2014-2017). Before moving to Cyprus in 2014, most of his career was in investment banking at UBS Investment Bank in London, where he rose through the ranks to head concurrently two sectors: Head of Shipping for Europe, Middle East and Africa and simultaneously Infrastructure & Project Concessions Advisory & Financing for Central & Eastern Europe. He has advised governments and global conglomerates on major financial transactions and strategy, totaling a value of over €50 billion. His experience includes among others, mergers and acquisitions, structuring and financing project concessions, listing companies on stock exchanges (NASDAQ and NYSE), structuring and raising equity and debt, corporate and financial restructurings and heading complex negotiations. Constantinos Herodotou holds an MBA from London Business School with Distinction and a BSc in Economics from University College London with First Class Honours.

Andrea Enria took office as Chair of the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank in January 2019. Before that he was, from March 2011, the first Chairperson of the European Banking Authority. He previously served as Head of the Supervisory Regulations and Policies Department at the Banca d’Italia and as Secretary General of the Committee of European Banking Supervisors. He also held the position of Head of the Financial Supervision Division at the European Central Bank. Before joining the ECB he worked for several years in the Directorate General Research and the Directorate General Banking and Financial Supervision of the Banca d’Italia. Mr Enria has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bocconi University and a MPhil in Economics from Cambridge University.

Demetris Nicolaou is the Chief Digital Officer at Bank of Cyprus and is responsible for the Bank’s Digital Channels, the Digital Economy Platform and the delivery of the Digital Transformation initiatives. He joined the Bank of Cyprus in 2017 as Manager Digital Transformation to oversee the delivery of the Bank’s Digital Transformation program. Prior to joining Bank of Cyprus, Demetris held various technology roles in the UK working for UBS Investment Bank from 2007 until 2012 and Citibank from 2012 until 2016 where he was most recently the Global Head of Futures eTrading technology. Upon his repatriation to Cyprus, he took the role of Chief Product Developent Officer at FxPro Financial Services. Demetris holds a BEng in Computing from Imperial College, London, UK and is also a CFA Charterholder.

Phivos Stasopoulos was born in 1967 in Cyprus. He has extensive experience in the accounting and banking industries. After graduating from the University of Manchester with a B.A. in Accounting, Finance and Econometrics, he joined KPMG in the UK, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He returned to Cyprus to join Bank of Cyprus as Head of Debt Recovery. After serving in various posts, he became General Manager as Head of Corporate Banking. He left the Bank at the end of 2013 and for a period of almost 2 years he was providing financial advice to reputable Cyprus companies, primarily for debt restructuring. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He joined Hellenic Bank in April 2016 where he held the position of General Manager Business Division and was responsible for the Bank’s Corporate and SME portfolio. Since August 2021, he holds the position of Chief Banking Officer, responsible for the whole spectrum of Customer related activities and products (Corporate, SME, Retail, International ,Shipping, Products)

Spyros Loizou is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Eurobank Cyprus, leading the bank’s digital and business transformation initiatives. Spyros has over 14 years of experience in the financial services sector in Cyprus and the UK. He was previously employed by Morgan Stanley Investment bank in London where he was leading the quantitative risk modeling team with Technology and Data division before his repatriation to Cyprus to lead EY’s IT Advisory services as a Director in the local practice for a number of years. He has been awarded with a 1st class honors in BSc in Computing from Northumbria University at Newcastle and an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), an ACL Certified Data Analyst (ACDA) as well as a certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

Konstantinos Koutentakis has 34 years of working experience in Marketing, Sales, HR and Business Development - mainly in the Consumer Goods, Consulting and Banking Sector. He worked for the L’ OREAL Group in France and Greece for 12 years, with last position held as General Manager for LANCOME in Greece. He then joined the global organizational consulting company, KORN FERRY in Greece, as a Senior Associate for 2 years. He entered the Alpha Bank Group in 2002, initially working for Alpha Mutual Funds and in 2007, for Alpha Bank S.A., holding managerial positions in the Branch Network, Retail Strategy Development and Personal Banking and Investment Services. He was appointed Managing Director of Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd in April 2017 and Chairman of the Association of Cyprus Banks in September 2022. Konstantinos Koutentakis holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Engineering Economic Systems both from Stanford University, Palo Alto, USA. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France.

Loucas Marangos was born in 1971. He was appointed as CEO and Member of the Management Body of the Bank in July 2021. He has a strong financial markets experience and in-depth knowledge of local and overseas financial markets. Prior to his appointment at the Bank, from 2009 to 2020 he was the CEO of TFI Markets Ltd. He has also worked in the Corporate Banking Division of Bank of Cyprus and from 2000 to 2009 as Associate Director Risk Manager of TFI Public Co. Ltd. He holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics and an MBA from Imperial College London.

Dr Edwin Van der Ouderaa leads Accenture’s Song Sales and Service practice and Digital Banking worldwide. He is a Computer Science Engineer, holds a PhD in Information Theory and an MBA. He founded a software company with venture-capital and served as its CEO until 1995. Joining Accenture since, he led several global banking accounts and one of Europe’s largest Banking IT Transformational Outsourcing programs, Accenture’s Payments practice and its UKI Insurance practice. In 2010-11 he chaired the Basel III Liquidity kick-off sessions, one of the three streams besides Capital Adequacy and Macro-Prudential Governance, advising the BIS, Basel Committee and G20/FSB. He then created Accenture’s global FS Digital, Data and Analytics practice, leading this till 2020. He founded Accenture’s Digital Decoupling practice. He is involved in digital transformations at numerous large banks across the world. He built several Digital banks and assisted many FinTechs.

Charis Florides is the Directory of Business Consulting Services Unit of Logicom Solutions, helping clients to define technology related strategies, build frameworks and safeguard their business by proactively identifying and assessing areas threatening information assets and their operations. He has over 14 years of experience in different areas of Information Technology, including designing and delivering transformation projects and highly complex Information Security architectures, cybersecurity strategies and frameworks. Previously, he served as Head of IT Audit at a major Financial Institution in Cyprus. Charis holds an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway University of London, is CISSP and OSCP certified and a Cyprus Certified Information Security Professionals (ISC2) Chapter Board Member.

Martin Lee is technical lead of security research within Talos, Cisco’s threat intelligence and research organisation, and EMEA lead for Strategic Planning & Communications within the group. As a researcher within Talos, he seeks to improve the resilience of the Internet and awareness of current threats through researching system vulnerabilities and changes in the threat landscape. With 20 years of experience within the security industry, he is CISSP certified, a Chartered Engineer, and holds degrees from the universities of Bristol, Cambridge, Paris and Oxford.

Harry Margaritis in his current role, as the Group Chief Information of Piraeus Bank, the largest Bank in Greece, leads the IT organization including the Digital Banking division of the Bank. During his previous tenure in Commercial Bank of Dubai he drove the digital transformation of the organization and designed and implemented the first digital bank in the region. He has also led the technology modernization efforts in Commercial Bank of Qatar and Eurobank. He has 24 years of professional experience and a track record of successful delivery of hundreds of large-scale projects across every banking domain. He is a published researcher in Information Security and holds an MSc in Communication Networks and a BSc in Phys.

Nikolas Anastasiou is the Director of Business Solutions and Services of Logicom Solutions, focusing in providing software solutions and advisory services around Digital Transformation, Data and Analytics. Nikolas has also served as Head of Analytics and Digital of the Business Consulting Services of the company. Before joining Logicom Solutions, Nikolas has co-founded and served as Technology Director at Emergent Systems, specializing in providing analytics and business intelligence services in the financial sector. Nikolas holds BSc, MSc and PhD degrees, starting with mathematics and specializing in computing, from Imperial College London. Yiannis Assiotis has 15 years of experience in the Technology and Financial Services sector. He has joint cdbbank in 2010. Yiannis holds the position of the Head of Technology Infrastructure and Security since 2017. He also serves as the Bank’s Business Continuity Officer. Yiannis holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the Middlesex University and a Master degree in Business information Technology from Middlesex University.

Anestis Cleanthous is Ancoria Bank’s Chief Information Officer. He joined the bank at its early stages, almost 8 years ago, and has held various leadership positions within its IT Department. Prior to that, he worked for a small period in the CRM software industry and for 15 further years in the Banking Industry (Laiki Bank). Anestis holds a BSc of Computer Science from the University of Cyprus as well as a Banking Operation Diploma from the American Bankers Association.

Christos Eojourian is the Head of Technology & Digital at Hellenic Bank since August 2021. He joined Hellenic Bank in 2018 as Manager, Channels & Digital Products responsible for the Digital Strategy of the Bank. Christos has 15 years of experience in the financial services sector. He started his career in 2007 at UBS in London working within Prime Brokerage Technology before taking a senior role within the Hedge Fund Client Integration team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML). Prior to joining Hellenic Bank, Christos was a Director at BlackRock leading, a global team for the Aladdin platform, which provides portfolio management, trading, operations, compliance, and accounting tools. Christos graduated from the University College London (UCL) with a BEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Christos Papadopoulos is the Digital Banking manager at Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd. His responsibilities include managing the Bank's digital channels as well as delivering digital transformation programs. Having joined Alpha Bank in 1995, he became manager of the Digital Banking Division in 2008. Throughout his career, he has specialized in digital banking, cards, payments, project management, and digital transformation. He holds an MSc in Business Information Technology from Middlesex University in the UK. In addition, he is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in the UK, the Cyprus Computer Society and a Microsoft Office Specialist Master.

Andreas Theodosiou has been appointed as Manager IT of BOC in March 2022. Previously, Andreas was the CIO of Astrobank, the 3rd largest bank in the country. Prior he worked as a Director in the IT Advisory team of PWC Cyprus. This followed Andreas tenure with NCR where he worked as a Professional Services Associate Partner for the CEE&MEA region, in the financial services sectors, with main focus in MEA banking clients. Before that, Andreas was part of Laiki Bank (acquired by BOC in 2013) where he was leading the Development arm of the IT department.

Michael C.G. Charalambides comes from a banking background with solid academic and strategic foundation in macro-economics and politics. Since the dawn of the Fin-Tech industry Michael has become a part of many leading industry projects and regulatory bodies via contribution through his network of projects. He has successfully launched with his peers the ECOMMPAY brand, was part of the project that launched the first private POS payments terminal in Cyprus and now has taken on a new venture and created the family of ECOMMBX as an EMI regulated under the CBC. Michael's favourite words that lead his vision are: “positive disruption” and “always work in the light".

With over a decade of experience in the financial services and fintech sector, Drosoula Hadjisavva has held critical leadership roles across several leading fintech/FX and Telecom firms. Anthi Exadaktylou is currently the CEO of Gordian Servicing Ltd, a company employing 150 people that manages more than €5bln of AuM, both NPLs and REOs. She has spent more than two decades working across various aspects of the Cypriot banking industry. The ACB is a non-profit organization through which common positions are formulated and promoted on banking and financial issues, when local legislative and governmental policies are determined. In communicating the industry’s views, the ACB cooperates closely with the Central Bank of Cyprus, the House of Representatives and various Ministries as well as other private and public bodies. The Association also has a close relationship with the European Banking Federation (of which it is a member), national banking associations and global organizations. This year, the ACB is celebrating its 50 years’ anniversary.


Created in 2003, CFA Society Cyprus is dedicated to professional excellence, integrity, education, volunteer service and strength of community.
