The Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Cyprus Chapter organizes The 5th Project Management Conference on the 26th of November 2021 at Hilton Nicosia, Cyprus.

Introduction

The Project Management Institute (PMI) Cyprus Chapter organizes for the 5th consecutive year the ‘Project Management Conference’. For the past 5 years the conference managed to bring together not only Project Managers but Professionals from different industries and sectors in Cyprus and abroad.

Participants will have the opportunity to be inspired by acclaimed keynote speakers, to learn about the emerging trends on Project Management, to obtain techniques and tools, as well as to exchange ideas and opinions with other professionals.

The vision of PMI to create professionals that will add value to organizations, the community and the world is transferred though the conference and addresses all individuals and organisations that wish to remain at the top.

*This will be a physical event, held in compliance with all the public health regulations in force at the time, based on developments regarding COVID-19. The Ministry of Health has decreed that the event may take place in the presence of people holding a SafePass in the form of either: 1) Proof that you are fully vaccinated with both doses of an approved double-dose vaccine or with the Janssen single-dose vaccine; 2) Proof that you have contracted COVID-19 in the last 6 months (the release or recovery text message sent to your mobile phone by the Ministry of Health); 3) A negative PCR or rapid test certificate, dated no more than 72 hours before the event. Please have one of these three forms of SafePass with you and present it on request.

Spencer is currently the President of Altium Leadership. He has been CEO of a leadership company and Vice President of a NASDAQ company which developed IMAX theaters in tourist destinations. There he worked with major organizations such as IMAX Corp., National Geographic Television, Radio City Productions, Disney Films and Larry Miller Theater’s, Inc. Additionally he worked with a performance training company and his clients including the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation, Sodexho, Dunkin’ Brands, Wendy’s International and Brinker International. Ashwini Bakshi

Managing Director, Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa, PMI, United Kingdom

Ashwini Bakshi is the Managing Director of PMI's Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa regions. He leads PMI's growth and organizational development in the combined regions. Ashwini is responsible for PMI operations which include 66 chapters across two continents, bringing PMI closer to customer needs. He plays a crucial role in developing an enhanced local experience for the project leader community across these regions. Ashwini is a versatile professional with over 25 years in solutions, business development, managed mergers, acquisitions, and alliances across diverse geographies of Europe, the Asia Pacific and Africa. He has worked in larger organisations like Nokia and Ericsson. He excels in creating value through creative solution thinking & agile teamwork. He also focuses on building a trusted win-win relationship with all stakeholders. Active learning strategies are a special area of interest for Ashwini. Ashwini has a Bachelor of Science from Delhi University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in India. He is a squash enthusiast and a qualified yoga instructor, and loves to read, trade ideas, and enjoys music.

Roman Reznikov is leading business vertical in one of the biggest IT companies in Ukraine. He supervises portfolio of ~40 HiTech projects (~600 software engineers). He is active contributor to the local project management community and was elected as President of PMI Ukraine chapter in 2021. Dimitrios Zaires is a highly experienced Chartered Supply Chain & Logistics Officer, working for the Hellenic Army & NATO for more than 8 Years. Besides his academic publications and his working experience based on his involvement in International & Regional R&D Supply Chain Projects and different cross-cutting topics for NATO, Dimitrios is an enthusiast for solving real market problems in the industry. He is voluntarily working as a Project Advisor in the Start-Up Ecosystem and he has participated in several International Defence and Civilian conferences.
